A public issue that deeply concerns me is the police and the violence used against black males. This concerns me a lot because I have to young men who I have raised right but I fear for their lives everyday. A person should not be targeted based on the color of their skin. According to an article on CNBC.com  Tucker Haggins states that "Black people were disproportionately among those killed, the group found. Black people accounted for 24% of those killed, despite making up only about 13% of the population." Those numbers are very scary and is a cause for concern. Of course everyone should be treated equally but even today that still does not ring true. I pray that going forward that officers will be evaluated more closely and held accountable for any wrong doing. Change is needed and needed it now.

    100% agree. It seems like every day another black man is killed over nothing. And it enrages me to have to watch them fight for their lives, while their murderers roam free.
    This is a problem that‘s bigger the police, it’s also the justice system. Whoever is in these courts allowing these police officers to go free or giving them light sentences needs to be disbarred.

I have to say I was not sure if I was going to make it through this term. This was my first experience with online learning and I was very nervous. I am happy to say that the experience was great. I learned more about how to write a document correctly and how to use the MLA format.  MLA and the works cited portion was the biggest obstacle for me. I feel confident now that I am able to execute it more effectively. I like the fact that we were able to interact with our fellow classmates. It should me that I wasn't the only one struggling and made me want to keep pushing forward. Writing is something that I have grown to like so I hope that I can take the skills what I learned with MLA and how to correctly format a document in my future course.

My purpose in adding authority to my document is to clearly present what I am speaking on. I will do this by citing credible references that support my argument. I want to present things in a manner way that it doesn't seem argumentative but I want to persuade the reader. Again I will use credible reference and I will be sure to do my research and find as much information as I can on the subject matter.

The text messages in my phone are arranged from newest to oldest. I only save them for 30 days because if I haven't read them within a month they could not have been all that important. I can rearrange them by subject or who they are from. If I change the format it may help filter out junk messages as well. The only attachments I normally get is pictures or screenshots. I have attached a screenshot of how my messages pop up. All of my contacts show and I am also able to see messages from unknown numbers. I try to keep the format as simple as possible.
